THE CHALLENGE:

Serle Court approached Zexi to simplify, enhance and suggest improvements for their existing meeting room audio visual set-up.

Being aware of the increased speed of change in recent years, Serle Court wanted to ensure that their meeting rooms remained at the cutting edge within their industry. They had identified issues with their existing on-premise hardware and wanted to improve on the user experience during video calls, whilst saving Clerks and Support Staff valuable time during set-up periods and improving on the experience for Barristers.

Serle Court had invested in some video conferencing equipment, however, they were having issues with the reliability and effectiveness of this equipment, particularly around the ease of use for members of Chambers.

They were in need of reliable meeting room systems that would enable their team to participate and host video meetings on Microsoft Teams, Zoom and CVP, in a way that was seamless and user-friendly.

They were also in need of a solution for their conference suite that would accommodate hybrid meetings and theatre style seminars and allow for multiple camera positions and flexible microphone coverage.

It was important that all systems were adaptable and would accommodate different room formats.

Their Barristers, Clerks and Support Staff utilise the meeting rooms multiple times each day, often with high-profile clients present within the room, or joining remotely, so the technology required within the room needed to be pain-free, professional and working on time every time.

The systems were to be installed within their Chambers and had to be easy to use, reliable, resilient, aesthetically pleasing and most importantly, secure.

It was vital to Serle Court that their chosen supplier provides on-going support and training for any new technology that they chose to implement.

THE SOLUTION:

Following the recommendation from another Chambers, Serle Court contacted Zexi to attend a meeting with the Chambers Director in order to view the existing facilities and discuss the requirements for each of their meeting rooms.

Working collaboratively with the Chambers Director from the outset of the project enabled Zexi to leverage their industry knowledge which is continually evolving, ensuring a smooth project delivery in a unique sector.

Once Zexi had completed a site survey and obtained the key information, our technical team worked together with Serle Court to reinstall their existing equipment and resolve their reliability issues.

Zexi then prepared a solution concept for a reliable conference suite solution for their event space, that would meet their needs and equip them with secure, flexible systems within Chambers.

In their event space Zexi designed and installed a combination of Yealink and Biamp products to provide a flexible conference solution with multiple views of the speakers, panellists and audience members within the room. In addition, providing them with a dynamic microphone solution that ensured all participants were intelligible and any unwanted background noises were filtered out.

Following the implementation of a solution concept, a reliable conference solution was deployed, enabling the team at Serle Court to benefit from:
